project 3
Any suggestions on making it better? Just realized the tip of hair isn't included in the clipping mask..
Mount Wachusett Community College, in Gardner MA offers a 2-year program for Graphic and Interactive Designer students. I'm not quite sure what this is for. Is this a movie poster? A book cover? The direction should be clear. Also the edges of the guy (masking), is quite rigid.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Gina, what would you like us to think this project is? If it's a book cover, it would need a byline (for author). The image you created (I remember this) is a really strong concept. Make sure the mask is perfect, and then come back to the position of the text. The "A" gets lost because it sits on the same value color (the background grey is a similar value as the gold). So maybe move the type into 3 lines, so it can sit on the darker value figure? Or, run it along the top of the composition - with tracking between the small letters (color gold would need to change). Let's make sure it's as readable as possible.
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone although the fading in the different images is very seamless.
ReplyDeleteLike Dan said, the images are montaged very well. I wonder if you tried letting just the bars of the cell spread out of the man just a little bit, it could make him feel a little more trapped.
