MWCC Portfolio 2019

BEFORE    AFTER I made the sky lighter and gave the buildings closest a slight shine, and added text, i wasn't sure which font would be the best to put. I also cropped it because it had a lot of  street space. As for direction this is pretty random, but was inspired off of a movie poster. I'm still willing to take another picture looking up as suggested from a peer, but making it smaller and less bold text. The inspiration

BEFORE  AFTER I cleaned up around the edges so they aren't rough anymore, I was told this didn't have a clear direction (i agree it didn't) so I made it a movie poster. I also added in a new background. (Maybe i could add in a made up name to it, as some other movie posters have)any feedback is welcomed.

I used colors and fonts that the person in front of merchandising gave to me. The black represents the space on the shirt and is one of the colors that will be used along with grey and light blue.

BEFORE AFTER I made the border of the monitor slimmer, which leaves me with more room and because of the curves a more modern look, and I made the portrait in the corner slightly bigger, I took the advice of getting rid of "Macintosh" and just having the apple logo.

I changed the color of the text from yellow to a more exciting blue that pops from the orange  wall. I made the man taller and gave him a shadow so he fits into the design better.

This was their original version.  This is my version. I added elements from the original and added their building as a backdrop. Thought a poetry book was a good idea as a focal point. Please give me some feedback!

I worked on project 4 some more so here's the before and after for comparisons. Before After Which looks better? 

I took up the suggestions made earlier and blurred the edges more while tweaking the color.  Any other suggestions?

Almost done with this, I still have to trim down the edges to fit.  Any ideas for changing the content?

Still waiting on finalization for this but from what I understand they loved it. May make some revisions if I get feedback from them but for now, it's done.

Mines pretty simple for now, and i'm open to any feedback.

Here's what I've got for logos. Not too sure which one I'm set on yet. Any feedback would be great.

This a self project, I wanted to make a classic VHS action movie cover, i might even throw in a synopsis for the back, or just crop it out and make a cover. I plan to play with some of the filters in Photoshop to make it look oldish/classic/film grain. The name is something I came up with quick and i'm willing to change it, i can understand if the sub head isn't too legible at the moment, also i plan to make sure each character is an appropriate size and clean around them if they weren't cut out the best. And I just realized I spelled humanity wrong... Whoops.

Since I've had alot of paid work recently I though I'd include a few of the logos I've made over the past 2 weeks.

Here is the final version of Brewed Magazine. Any feedback would be appreciated, I am happy with the final design.  Could you all overlook to see if there are any minor tweaks that need to be made? I redesigned the Contents page added some color behind the Brewed nameplate on the cover and masked the photo so it looks more three dimensional.  I cleaned up the glass and edge on the spread and put a mask on the coaster for more dimension.

This is the final poster design and raffle tickets for the Dress for Success Event by the Parent Support Group.
