Mount Wachusett Community College, in Gardner MA offers a 2-year program for Graphic and Interactive Designer students. This final course in the GID program helps students assemble and present their best work produced in the program. Let me know what you all think of my résumé and cover letter design. I tried to keep things clean but not boring. Not sure what social media to include, I put Instagram and LinkedIn.
I like how sleek and professional these look- very clean!I also like your swatch choice of blues. My critique would be having the dark blue lines reach across the whole page or having them be matching, for me I found them a little bit distracting. I would also suggest moving the logo upwards a little bit so that it is more evenly spaced between the dark blue line and the length blue line that reaches across the length of the page.
Over all I like the design, especially the signature. Beautiful work as always.
A quick look (I will read this later in print) makes me think that the design may be a bit busy. Too many horizontal lines that don't seem to have a purpose other than to clutter the page. I really don't think you need most of those lines! If they aren't needed - delete. Your projects show a good understanding of negative space - here it looks like you are afraid of it.
For us to read the bar graph (proficiency) easily, you may need to FR the items to the bars... they seem to be too far apart right now.
