Mount Wachusett Community College, in Gardner MA offers a 2-year program for Graphic and Interactive Designer students. This final course in the GID program helps students assemble and present their best work produced in the program. This blog is produced by the GID Portfolio class under the direction of instructor Coni Porter.
The elements are laid out well in the composition. I really like everything about it, the only thing I would change is to make the page number and the Crimson on the bottom right corner to be a bit smaller. Nice overall, from the illustrations to the color scheme.

ReplyDeleteCover - the text at the very top of the page doesn't appear to be consistently sized, and the right column seems to bleed off the top of the page. Please make 3 of those sections be the same size font, and allow a margin to push the type down away from that top edge consistently.
Contents: You need to FL the lines of type under Nosferatu to be closer to their page number (40) and try to get this line to become just 1 line, centered vertically in that space. Also - you need to add type to the article on page 30 to fill it out... right now there is still a hole below that lonely sentence... add another sentence or 2 to fill.
Page 41: There is a widow on the last paragraph - write a few more words to help that line fill out?
