Project 5 rework

BEFORE

I made the sky lighter and gave the buildings closest a slight shine, and added text, i wasn't sure which font would be the best to put. I also cropped it because it had a lot of  street space. As for direction this is pretty random, but was inspired off of a movie poster. I'm still willing to take another picture looking up as suggested from a peer, but making it smaller and less bold text.

  1. I love that the negative space now forms the shape of a tower, that's awesome. I think this was mentioned in your last post about this but I still feel like the man in the front of your design is giving you issues. He just seems to be looking aimlessly, not really focused on anything. If you can find a better image for him I think it would really improve the piece.

  2. I miss the "tall" proportion of your original work - this should not be a landscape composition, but instead a portrait - to emphasize the tall shapes inside the format. Please return to that format - it makes sense. It is good that you have lightened up some areas... I encourage you to continue to think about doing more of that. The typography looks overly heavy and squished into that space. Reduce, lighten the font, and I wonder if you would want to merge it with the sky a bit (in terms of color and texture)?
