I am thinking that this would be sitting on a black shirt, and not sitting (a bit awkwardly) on the black background shape. Right? I suggest you enlarge that black shape so your work sits clearly in the middle of it - making a bit more sense visually. Then, present it to your client! And, put this in your portfolio.
