Mount Wachusett Community College, in Gardner MA offers a 2-year program for Graphic and Interactive Designer students. This final course in the GID program helps students assemble and present their best work produced in the program. This is starting to feel more unified for sure. I like the green you used for the background, it's a peaceful color. The red on the headline seems a little garish, is there another color or treatment that could be applied to it. And do you need all that body text? Might be better to reduce it and have a link to learn more.
Did you notice that the photo on right is distorted? I wonder if setting up a grid at the bottom would help you position the body copy in a better use of the space. Maybe try 2 or 3 columns? Make sure to leave some space between the paragraphs to "chunk" them. Italics is best used for emphasis and not used for entire paragraphs of body copy.
