I combined the letters and will be putting my contact info in the back.
The logo is getting better, starting to feel more like a logo instead of just two letters. I'm not sure you're quite there yet, though. The border around graphic design is great, works well with the font too.
This could be done as it is. But I need to ask you if you tried other combinations of letters... like a lower case d, or a "reversed" D, or stacked letters, etc. It's good to push yourself into exploring many alternatives... just to make sure this version is your best.
