This a self project, i was thinking of adding a quote but almost feel like it could do without one. I had flares around the portal and a faded ring of light but without them it feels more natural.
I really like the way these are blended together. I think the hand should be darkened a little bit to match the background so I will link the same video I linked for Dan (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iw7cabDYfVk). Maybe you could also add some glowing effect around the hand casting the portal?
It's an interesting piece. The portal does good in drawing the eye before looking around and seeing the destroyed city behind it.

DeleteThere is room for a quote, running down the left hand side of the composition if you had one to add. This is nice!
